Fast Pitch Event 2017

Fast Pitch is an annual series of events that allows the community to experience the CTCF mission - to bridge donors to nonprofits with effective solutions to meet real community needs in Williamson County.

2017 - BIG Changes

Starting this year, the CTCF Fast Pitch event will alternate years focusing on two categories - the Arts & Culture Category and the Open Category.

2017 will be ONLY for Arts & Culture nonprofits and 2018 will be ONLY for the Open Category nonprofits.

1st Place - $10,000
People's Choice Award - $5,000
Film Short Award - $3,000 to the nonprofit, $500 to videographer
Cammy Garey Award - $3,000

Round 1 (February 2017)

Arts & Culture nonprofits have submitted their written applications and these are under review!

Round 2 - Film Short/Video competition (September 2017)

Applicants from Round 1 will be scored and the top groups will advance to Round 2.  Each of these qualifying groups will be given $250 towards the cost of making a 90-second video.  Each nonprofit will need to determine a videographer to work with and develop their video by the deadline of September 6, 2017.  Chisholm Trail Communities Foundation will host an online voting campaign to determine the awardee of the Film Short Award (see list of Awards below).

The purpose of the 90-second video/film short is to articulate the mission of the nonprofit and highlight the impact of their programs on the community.  View the Terms and Conditions here.

Round 3 - Public Art Showcase event (October 19, 2017)

Each of the groups from Round 2 will have 8 minutes to showcase their program (i.e. quartet playing music, segment of a play, artist talking about their painting/exhibit, etc.).  The Showcase event will be open to the public, and the audience will determine the $5,000 People's Choice Award!

2016 Fast Pitch Awardees

GOALS of the Fast Pitch series

1.      Educate individuals.  Allow members of the community to learn about area nonprofits and the specific projects or programs that are in place—all at an exciting, pressure-free (because CTCF provides the awards) event!
2.      Raise awareness of  local nonprofits.  Area nonprofits are exposed to potential, new volunteers/donors/supporters.
3.      Provide resources to the community.  Support the community with grant awards.
